Eagles' Wings Stables
Eagles' Wings Stable, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization providing equine-assisted therapeutic activities for people with special needs since 2006. Cognitive, physical, behavioral and emotional challenges are addressed through the "whole person" approach of integrating the physical and psychological interactions, in controlled situations, with a horse. Over the last 16 years they have helped over 500 participants of all ages navigate a variety of challenges ranging from ADD/ADHD, Autism, PTSD and traumatic brain injuries to physical impairments due to injuries, strokes, genetic disorders and more.
GSV Impact: Eagles' Wings Stable used their GSV grants to purchase two therapy horses. "Flex" and "Mr. McKee" will provide many hours of enjoyment and therapy for years to come.
