Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery began in 1991 at Pastor Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church by John Baker. CR is a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurts, habits, or hang-ups of any kind. It is a safe environment to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling your life. Since its inception, 37,000 Celebrate Recovery programs have been launched worldwide. On January 24, 2022, CLC’s long-time dream of launching our own Celebrate Recovery program was realized. Celebration Place, the companion program for children, was also launched at that same time.

About God-Sized Vision
The God-Sized Vision Fund was created by the CLC Board and allocates 25% of the church’s annual operating budget for Kingdom-minded expansion projects. Since its inception, the GSV fund has provided much needed resources for local service projects like LoveDayton, church plants across the U.S., global food and supply programs, building projects, and much more.
