Impact by the numbers
GSV Investment
Founded in 2019, Lydia House International is a Christian non-profit serving women, children, and underserved communities in Liberia, Africa. Through its residential facility in Melekie, the organization provides vulnerable women and their children with housing, healthcare, education, vocational training, and trauma-informed, Christ-centered care. Lydia House equips residents to heal from exploitation, combat gender-based inequity, and become leaders in their families and communities. A $25,000 God-Sized Vision Fund investment equipped Lydia House's new preschool – 2nd grade classrooms with teaching materials and furniture. In the 2025–2026 school year, the program will serve 50 children 18 from the residential home and 32 from the community alongside 15 adults in literacy courses. With plans to reach 200 students within five years, Lydia House is building a sustainable model that unites education, empowerment, and God's love to strengthen its community.
