Troy Skate Church: Building a Year-Round Refuge for Youth

Since 2021, Troy Skate Church has been reaching 20–50 youth and young adults each week through meals, mentorship, and Christ-centered messages at Joe Reardon Skate Park. In winter, they rent indoor space to keep serving, providing skating, clothing, shoes, and encouragement, all with no paid staff. With a $30,125 God-Sized Vision Fund investment, the ministry built a permanent indoor skatepark with a hangout area and storage space. This safe, sober environment hosts weekly gatherings, doubles food provisions, and offers consistent support, aiming to engage 75 youth weekly and reach hundreds more in the next five years.
