Dayton Student House of Prayer

Dayton Student House of Prayer

Dayton Student House of Prayer (DSHOP) is open in downtown Dayton for all who want to be a “student” of prayer. Their historic building on Ludlow Street, that was once used to house a bar that participated in sex trafficking, is now a place of worship and prayer. Their goal is to create space for God to move, people to respond to Him, and for the city of Dayton to experience a taste of Heaven coming to earth.

GSV Impact: Dayton SHOP received two GSV grants. One was for a mural to be painted on the outside of the building. “Free the City” is a campaign to take a mini-camp into the neighborhoods of the city with the goal to minister to 500 children this summer so they can encounter God and take His goodness into their homes and communities. When the children see the mural, they will know Dayton SHOP is a safe place for them to come.

A second grant allowed Dayton SHOP to offer 42 scholarships to students to attend their Summer Signs & Wonders Camp. The camp focuses on directing the campers’ eyes to Jesus. Over the course of two weeks, 105 campers experienced healings and encounters with God!

GSV Investment: $23,000

As you go through the reports of the projects successfully completed in the last year, please remember that none of these achievements would have been possible without your support. Each time you contribute to CLC, your generosity is not only creating a positive influence in our local communities but also extending its reach across the globe.

Let's rejoice in everything that God has accomplished and in all that He will continue to achieve!
