New Hope Church
New Hope Church is passionate about reaching the East Dayton community with the love of Jesus Christ. They are working to build a family of believers devoted to bringing Christ’s life-changing love and hope to their community. In a neighborhood ravaged with crime, drugs, prostitution, and poverty, they are impacting their community showing people how to walk
together to become victorious through Jesus.
GSV Impact: Several CLC families volunteered in New Hope’s Christmas Shoppe so New Hope families could spend their hard earned “Serve Bucks” to buy their children gifts for Christmas. “Serve Bucks” are earned by families serving their neighbors in a variety of ways such as collecting and donating canned goods to the St. Mary Food Pantry or cooking dinner for a family in need. The GSV grant provided the funds for the gifts, and CLCer’s helped wrap gifts and entertain the children while their parents shopped.
