Emerge Recovery and Trade Initiative

Emerge raises hope by providing individual, transformational, and vocational pathways for people seeking recovery and for those youth aging out of foster care. The holistic ecosystem of care allows for all services to occur at one location. Services include recovery housing, group and individual counseling, case management, peer recovery support, 12-step and faith-based recovery, life skills, mentorship, vocational pathways, and career opportunities.

GSV Impact: The GSV grant provided an outdoor wellness space to connect residents with God’s glorious creation to benefit their recovery process. The space includes a pavilion with picnic tables and grills, resurfaced courts for basketball and pickleball, a fire pit gathering space, and recreational equipment. The healing benefits of nature will be seen and felt here for years to come.

About God-Sized Vision
The God-Sized Vision Fund was created by the CLC Board and allocates 25% of the church’s annual operating budget for Kingdom-minded expansion projects. Since its inception, the GSV fund has provided much needed resources for local service projects like LoveDayton, church plants across the U.S., global food and supply programs, building projects, and much more.
