Equipping Communities in Paraguay

Through its partnership with Hope International, Christian Life Center was introduced to Diaconia, a Paraguay-based ministry dedicated to equipping communities through microfinancing, discipleship, and vocational training. The vision is simple but powerful: empower individuals to become financially independent while also growing in faith and community. In 2024 – 2025, CLC sent its first mission team to Paraguay, stepping into this vision firsthand. Over the course of the trip, five CLC volunteers taught three vocational skills, baking and decorating cupcakes and brownies, welding, and dye sublimation to local Paraguayans. Each workshop welcomed more than 30 participants eager to learn, practice, and begin developing businesses that could provide for their families. Backed by a $1,403 Above and Beyond investment in in-country supplies, the mission trip became more than skill-building, it was an opportunity to share Christ's love in practical ways, equipping individuals to create sustainable change in their homes, communities, and beyond.
