LoveDayton Serve Engages in Monthly Acts of Compassion

Impact by the numbers
GSV Investment
From building walking paths to blessing new moms, Christian Life Center's LoveDayton Serve mobilized 554 volunteers this past year to put faith into action. With a $13,369.46 God-Sized Vision Fund investment, monthly projects met practical needs across Dayton. Volunteers partnered with the Harley-Davidson Owners Group to provide bookbags for Northridge first graders, built a 12-step walking path for Emerge Recovery & Trade Initiative, served lunch at the Not Alone Luncheon for divorced and widowed congregants, and joined CLC YoungAdultLife in ministering to youth at the Victory Project. Church-wide drives amplified the impact, collecting over 3,500 school supplies for Northridge students and items needed to assemble Welcome Baby baskets which included diapers, blankets, and clothes for new mothers. Each month, LoveDayton Serve showed the heart of CLC: meeting needs, building relationships, and sharing the love of Jesus in tangible, life-changing ways.
