The New Jerusalem Church near Oaxaca, Mexico, is translating the Bible into Zapotec with the help of missionaries Jennifer and Jonatan Cordova from Wycliffe Bible Translators. The church creates creative programs to draw children and teens to Christ. A $36,000 God-Sized Vision Fund investment purchased musical instruments and provided the salary for a music teacher to form a children's and teen wind and brass band. Through planned devotions before practice and Christian worship music, the program builds self-esteem, strengthens Bible instruction, and provides positive mentorship. With 18 student musicians leading the way, the band's music will reach many of the 1,200 village residents, inspiring spiritual growth and guiding youth toward meaningful choices in their daily lives.
