Opening Doors for Dayton Teens to Encounter Jesus

Dayton Urban Young Life is on the frontlines of reaching high school students in three Dayton Public Schools with mentorship, friendship, and the Gospel. Through Bible studies, teen gatherings, tutoring, and an annual summer camp, the ministry offers safe, Christ-centered spaces for students, many of whom have never heard the story of Adam and Eve or Jesus Christ. One of the most powerful tools for transformation is a week-long, cell phone-free summer camp at Rockbridge, where teens can disconnect from distractions and encounter God in a life-changing way. Thanks to a $26,400 God-Sized Vision Fund investment, 40 Dayton teens received full scholarships to attend this summer's camp. For many, it was their first time leaving the city and their first time hearing about Jesus in a personal way. Seeds of faith were planted, and lives are already being transformed.
