Pie-it-Forward and Egg-it-On

At Christian Life Center, extending hospitality has become a tradition through two creative outreach events: Egg-it-On and Pie-it-Forward. Both combine fun with intentionality, using simple gifts as bridges to invite others to experience God's love.

In the weeks leading up to Easter, congregants receive 6-inch candy-filled eggs along with an invitation to Easter services. Each egg is designed to be shared with a neighbor, coworker, or friend, making it easy to spread joy and offer a personal invitation to church during the Easter season.

‍This year, 2,592 eggs were given out, supported by a $4,766 Above and Beyond investment.

In November, the focus shifts to Thanksgiving with Pie-it-Forward. Pumpkin, apple, and sweet potato pies are distributed to church members, who then pass them along with invitations to the Christmas Experience.

In 2024, 2,800 pies were given out through a $7,825 Above and Beyond investment.

Together, these efforts turn ordinary gifts into extraordinary opportunities to share Christ and welcome people into the church.
