Tools of Transformation at Good Shepherd Ministries

Impact by the numbers
GSV Investment
Since 2001, Good Shepherd Ministries has been offering men in recovery and those re-entering society from prison a fresh start through faith, housing, and hands-on training. With one of the highest success rates in the recovery industry, their seven houses in Dayton serve as a launchpad for lasting change. With a $12,000 God-Sized Vision Fund investment, Good Shepherd has added two key resources to its microbusiness training programs: a Legacy Timberwolf TW-5 Log Splitter for its tree removal business and a new concrete floor for the Welding School garage. The log splitter will triple firewood production, generating more revenue for the ministry and steady paychecks for the men. The concrete floor will allow more trainees to learn welding, opening doors to employment and a greater chance of long-term recovery success. For Good Shepherd, these tools aren't just equipment, they're instruments of transformation.
