World Vision
World Vision’s Global WASH Program helps to improve health, nutrition, and education outcomes through universal access to sustainable and safely managed water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services. Besides bringing clean water to various communities, World Vision also focuses on helping to update health care facilities with clean water. In areas where World Vision works, only half the health clinics have clean water, and 84% don't even have basic hand washing facilities.
GSV Impact: The GSV grant to World Vision provided the resources to equip a health care facility in Sierra Leone with clean water directly for the health care facility, handwashing stations in all patient areas, staff training on infection prevention and control, evangelism in the community, waste management and mobilizing community health workers for community education programs.
GSV Investment: $125,000
