World Vision – Honduras

World Vision is an international partnership of Christians whose mission is to follow Jesus Christ in working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation, seek justice, and bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God. They work in over 100 countries world-wide and have been providing aid and assistance for over 70 years.

GSV Impact: Because of CLC’s generosity, World Vision has made significant progress in improving the lives of 1,600 people in Honduras providing the opportunity to attend school, have access to clean sustainable water, and new healthcare facilities.

The goal for World Vision’s Honduras project is to provide clean water for 650,000 people by the year 2027 while sharing the hope of Jesus through the local faith leaders.

About God-Sized Vision
The God-Sized Vision Fund was created by the CLC Board and allocates 25% of the church’s annual operating budget for Kingdom-minded expansion projects. Since its inception, the GSV fund has provided much needed resources for local service projects like LoveDayton, church plants across the U.S., global food and supply programs, building projects, and much more.
