ChildHope – Costa Rica

ChildHope is a ministry that transforms the lives of children born into poverty. They partner with churches in impoverished communities to help them reach children and families through church-based Christian school programs. In so doing, ChildHope children are receiving a quality education, the Good News of Jesus Christ, and other tangible expressions of God’s compassion.

GSV Impact: Through the GSV Fund, CLC provided funds for a new classroom pavilion at the school in Los Guido, Costa Rica. This allows the church and school ministry to provide more safe and spacious spaces for PreK, Kindergarten, and Special Needs children in the community. Additional funding from this year’s GSV grant will pay for the construction of a Futbol5 facility. Futbol5 will not only be a soccer field for the students, but it will also serve the community and provide an ongoing income source for the school.

About God-Sized Vision
The God-Sized Vision Fund was created by the CLC Board and allocates 25% of the church’s annual operating budget for Kingdom-minded expansion projects. Since its inception, the GSV fund has provided much needed resources for local service projects like LoveDayton, church plants across the U.S., global food and supply programs, building projects, and much more.
