Lydia House International – Liberia
Lydia House International’s residential facility in Liberia, West Africa takes in young women and girls who are survivors of exploitation and violence. Residents are able to complete their education, receive vocational training, and are discipled to become self-sustaining, Christian leaders in their communities and homes.

GSV Impact helped to:

• Construct a residential home with a 60-bed capacity for vulnerable and exploited women and their children in Melekie Town, Liberia.

• Complete the finishing touches on the entire 2-acre compound, including the administrative building, security wall, plumbing/septic/well and wiring.

• Complete the gender-based sexual violence prevention resource, Speak Out, which includes printing, training of local facilitators, and countrywide dissemination.

• Distribute sustainable feminine hygiene products and provide reproductive education/ mentoring to local women and girls throughout Bong County.
